Agent! Are you creative? Do you like to celebrate the things that bring us together? Would you like to see your artwork used as an IngressFS media item? This is a call to the artist in you!
Niantic and Fev Games are happy to announce a new addition to Ingress First Saturday Events! It’s the IngressFS Artwork Competition: a competition focused on highlighting themes that are relevant to the global community through original works of art made by agents all over the Earth.
If you can think of something that makes you wonder, that makes you move, see, explore, and enjoy the world, please share it with the Ingress community as a work of art and enter the global competition!
FAQs
Q: I’M IN! WHAT’S CONSIDERED VALID ARTWORK?
A: Submissions shall be original digital artwork. This includes images of field art made by the agents as well as street art or pictures drawn by agents. All submissions must be original. No copyrighted work other than Ingress materials and the artist’s original creation will be considered for the competition. Also, your work must comply with the Niantic Player Guidelines (e.g. nothing racist/sexist/obscene).

Q: HOW DO I ENTER THE COMPETITION?
A: Enter your artwork using this submission form.
Q: WHAT ARE THE EVALUATION CRITERIA?
A: The best submissions have to be original pieces and will:
- have a strong aesthetic appeal
- celebrate the cross-faction Ingress community
- represent the desire to explore new places
- inspire Ingress agents to be physically active
- communicate a feeling of mystery, wonder, or surprise
- have a thematic association with the month or season
Q: WHO WILL EVALUATE THE SUBMISSIONS?
A: An evaluation panel consisting of Niantic and Fev Games-UN members will review all submissions for each period and choose the winners.
Q: HOW MANY WINNERS WILL BE CHOSEN?
A: This competition will run on a quarterly schedule and three winners will be chosen each quarter. One work of art will be featured each month of the quarter.
Q: WHEN ARE THE DEADLINES?
A: Cutoff for submissions for the first competition will be July 19th, 5 PM Pacific; the winners will be selected by August 4th. Artwork selected in this first competition will be featured as IngressFS media from September to November.
